Inna, are you kidding? Lets compare the NBL's Rose with the NBN's Mayo...
Derrick Rose 19 6'4" 190 PG: B C+ B- C+ C A
O.J. Mayo 19 6'5'' 204 PG B C+ B- C C A
Rose has potential superstar written all over him. If Jiggy made him any better then it'd be ridiculous.

I'm down with Rose's ratings. If he has decent potential he'll be a star.
I certainly don't want a league with ridiculously inflated ratings and stats.

If he's the consensus pick, then there is a gap between him and everyone else. If thats the case then how good/bad are the rest. If the consensus number 1 pick has ratings of say... C B+ B+ C B+ A Then there can still be a solid 4 or 5 guys behind him at least that may not be as good, but are still really solid. This was my point really. To have a consensus number one pick, there needs to be a reasonably solid gap between number 1 and the rest.

I see your point, but I think Jiggy can quite easily create 2nd, 3rd, 4th pick players who are plenty talented enough without being likely #1 picks.

Fuck yeah! There's also a link the some Eric Gordon highlights there as well. Far less impressive.

I think your basing ratings off what you see, rather than more, I'm not saying Rose sucks, cause the man can do more than dunk, but just beware of too many highlights, Cause If I showed you a couple rolls of James White when he was in High School you'd have him high in a draft board as well
but anyway, good work so far, can't wait to see more.

Yeah, you're enitrely right Duck. I haven't spent close to 10 hours reading tons of scouting reports and reading stats on Espn (for the collegiate players) and reading box scores for Euros and high schoolers. Video helps, Duck. That's it. I know that Eric Gordon is probably the strongest SG in this draft, but doesn't have explosive speed and only average handles for a SG. I know that his passing needs a lot of work and he doesn't compete well for rebounds. Could I possibly have gained all that info from a minute long highlight clip? I've had a bad couple pf days in real life and I don't plan on ripping you to shreds here, but please...don't make assumptions with how I'm going about my scouting and give me a little more credit than to base incoming players ratings on short video clips. Thank you.

Okay, well I don't doubt what you do isn't accurate, but whatever, I've spent shitload on draft files also, I have a spreadsheet of pretty much every player with every pros n cons and shit like that... Will still>all else at draft files...

Yeah, Will is the draft file guru hands down. That's why I've been leaning on him for advice. I'm sorry if I sounded like a douche to ya Duck. It was just like...bad timing that I read that post when i did. All I should've said was that I've got it under control. No hard feelings, eh?

Nice job so far jiggy. Good to see your enjoying being the draft guy. Just do what you want. If people dont like it they could trade their picks away.
