Oh so you want to lose that 8th place seed and fall out of the playoffs? j/k
There's no one I'd prefer not to argue with than you, Jiggy. I guess I just hate Randolph with a vengeance and, like Ducky, don't even see how he's worth expiring, let alone Paul Pierce (albeit with a few other pieces thrown in to balance it out).

The thing is, Will, you'll get little to no arguement from me. Bad value for Pierce? Yes...defintely!!! But bad value is the best I could do. A team as talent-laden as mine should not be clinging to the 8th seed. Something had to be done; someone had to be blamed, that's just how I see it. I'm not gonna blame the youth, that's for sure. And with the number of different ways I tried to make this team work, I can't blame myself either. People can say what they want about my trades, or whatever other aspect of my GM skills, but I know as well as most other long standing GMs around these parts that my depth charts cannot be fucked with. And the fact is, that I can manipulate most players' skills to accomplish pretty much anything I want from them. If Pierce was underachieving, I could've changed that. But I don't think he was. I think that he's just declining. Am I supposed to hold onto him because of his name value and wait for him to get even worse? Spencer chose Caron Butler over him for chrissakes. And I don't blame him because name value aside, he's arguably better that Pierce is. Getting three replies in a thread specifically designed to move a "big name" star is quite telling, if you ask me. I did what I did and I'm not deluded about it. I didn't get good value. I didn't get good value. I didn't get good value.
That said, I can remember a couple of other "bad trades" that I made in NBN. I was a lotto team and gave up waaaaay to much to get Daniel Gibson. Boom. I won it all that year. I was clinging to the 8th seed and gave up waaaay too much to get CJ Miles. Boom. I won it all that year too. Not to say that I'm winning it all this year because I'm not. But I did some number crunching and decided that Randolph will help. Just as I did with Gibson and Miles in the past, I made the offer. I probably could've gotten some so-so players and a few picks from one team in particular, but since I'm...y'know...making the damn draft files, that's not really the proper thing to do.
So Zach Randolph it is then.
