I decided to post this because I'm about to go to sleep and have no idea when Maniac is intending to sim past the deadline.
Yesterday, Dane gave me the impression he was going to post this, but then he just upped and vanished. Then I PM'd him to call it off, and then decided I'd do it. So if he has any major issue with it, we'll sort it out.
Raptors Trade:
PG TJ Ford C Vitaly Potapenko
Cavs Trade:
C Martynas Andriuskevicius C Zydrunas Ilgauskas Cavs 2010 1st Round Draft Pick
Agreed.

I don't massively like this for either team (hear me out...)
The Raptors lose one of the better PGs in the league for an old big man and a rubbish 1st. I guess the cap space is useful, but I doubt they'll use it to land a player of Ford's calibre. But, if they do, then it was a good trade.
The Cavs get a great deal here in terms of value, but I'm not sure that Ford will really help them, and they'll miss Big Z.

KG I'm good sorry I wanted to do the deal, but had to go off for a bit. PM me if you have any problems.
Yea, what Will said is true. The thing is my team is solid, but I think we still are 1 player away from being a really good team. So I have to take this chance and deal TJ Ford hoping to somehow land a better player. TJ's contract is too big for me to make other minor moves around, so I needed to trade him. TJ is everything a team needs in a PG, if the team has good scoring from other places. As of right now my team just doesn't have the pieces to make TJ worth his contract. I guess, I will have a lotto and 10 + million to work with this off-season, which will help us a bunch.

I actually think a team of Ford, Bargnani, Noah and Bosh could have been pretty damn good in a few years.

Yep, I was curious as to why Dane wanted to deal him so bad.

I actually think a team of Ford, Bargnani, Noah and Bosh could have been pretty damn good in a few years. Yeah, I was gonna keep him until I got Prince, because I had to give up some expiring. Now that I got a defensive stopper. Also after this deal, I am gonna have 18 million + which is nice to have this off-season. If I don't pick up someone solid then this deal was bad.

I guess people will never learn. Dealing away their good players for expiring on some assumption that they'll use the cap space to sign better players in FA. That rarely works out as planned. And yeah, Dane, I'm not sure what you're doing. You deal for Prince then trade Ford? Bad move, IMO.
